Nik Tipler – Chief Rhino & CEO
A founding member of Gyronix, Nik Tipler is passionate about transforming business processes and increasing personal productivity to make a real impact on the way business is done and results achieved.Having used MindManager software for a number of years, a chance meeting with Nick Duffill in 2003 led to an innovative collaboration to develop software tools to take business to the next level of efficiency and effectiveness – this partnership became Gyronix. The first version of ResultsManager was launched in 2003 focusing on achieving strategic results, by prioritising and dynamically updating action lists/dashboards using MindManager as the operating platform.
With a business background in accounting and financial services, Nik gained direct insights and in-depth experience of the issues facing business leaders, and importantly, spotted the gaps in the market to provide full and effective solutions to these critical strategic challenges.
In 1998 Nik joined the family high precision engineering business and has been managing both businesses side-by-side for the last 5 years.
Having these diverse and dual business responsibilities provides Nik with a unique perspective. To really understand and experience the issues facing business today and be part of a unique team which designs and produces the most advance productivity tools on the market today to help individuals and teams realise their full potential.
Nick Duffill – Chief Guru & CTO
Gyronix Co-Founder, Nick Duffill is known as “The Guru” in the MindManager community. He has Over 25 years experience in software development & as a project manager in diverse applications from software for controlling weaving looms to the development of robot control systems.Nick has been contracted as a consultant to Mindjet in USA and UK since Mindjet were just 3 people (1998) and has been involved directly with MindManager 2002 development - Design of first integrations with PowerPoint, Project, Outlook and MindManager X5 Development – development of the web site export.
Nick also helped establish Mindjet UK and is the technical editor of Wiley's "MindManager for Dummies".
Cofounder of: Gyronix, MindManuals.com and the Independent MindManager User Group, Nick is undoubtedly the most experienced and well respected developer of solutions for the MindManager platform and his Beyond Mind Mapping Blog with essays on the application of software mapping in business is a must read for all serious about the use of software mapping in business.
